Mick wadsworth a manager or a coach?

Tactial he is clueless, plays players out of position and will not drop his "mates"

No plan B and no plan A by the last few weeks.

What's happened to our team what where going up? We never played well through our unbeaten run but we were fearless. Now the players don't seem to know were they playing or what formation we playing.

We need some one who will take charge and personally don't think it's MW

Collins and liddle who have done nothing the past 6 weeks. Murray went 3 weeks without doing nothing all though has improved in last few games. Nish, how did gr start?

My point here is wadsworth though, he is not a manager. I said this last season and even when we were unbeaten. The players go out not knowing where they playing or what they have to do.

I would prefer Mick as a coach rather than a manager. I dont think he is a manager tbh and I think a lot of us (myself included) have maybe been a bit naive with heaping so much praise on MW in the past.

The undeniable fact is that we don't look a good team (we weren't playing THAT well on our good run earlier this season), we are playing godawful football, the effort of a number of players is very questionable, our tactics are often wrong (or shall I say, bettered by opposition managers) and players are not being rewarded/punished when they should be.

Mick's qualifications would make him an asset as a coach but I think we need a manager.

This is a VERY big season for pools, after the brilliant season ticket offer and the numbers of returning fans. Its vital we keep them and if we drift towards the foot of the table (while playing very unattractive football) we will probably lose a lot of these returning fans. I would sooner see us 'gamble' on a proper manager. Unfortunately from what I have heard, Mick is occupying the job until either Barron and Ritchie feel ready to take it. I don't think this would help.

Agree with that. He hasn't given a decent run in the team to anyone else but the same players who have been culpable for successive home defeats - games we aren't even creating a worthwhile effort on goal for 95% of matches. Absolutely not good enough, and the time for a manager to step up to the plate is when it's going wrong, not when it's going well. We all want to know - what is he going to do about it? In other words, is he finally going to drop the aforementioned Collins and Liddle, and stop pairing Nish and Boyd up front. The bloke is fast becoming a clown figure since his Sheff Wed match team selection
Play the best players in their correct positions, and stick with the 'lovely lovely person' for a run of 3 or 4 games to allow them to gel. Not change it back the very next game, to what wasn't working previously.

The thing is Parmo he picked a side yesterday were largely the players played in correct positions, only really James Poole was out of position. I don't people many people could argue with yesterdays starting line up. It was a pretty balanced team.

They weren't good enough once they crossed the white line.

The worry is without a 37 year old's right foot we've barely created an opening at home and if these home performances continue we are going to lose everything that was gained with the season ticket offer. I can't stress the importance of sorting this home form out quickly as the football is dreadful and the results worse.

IOR know this, Wadsworth I think is under serious pressure.
