another bitterly disappointing showing, giving up virtually without even a whimper.

Flinders 7 : pretty much powerless for all the goals and woefully exposed by the circus in front of him

austin 4 : awful. poor decision making throughout, and terrible distribution.

hartley 4 : had the piss taken out of him in the air by kermorgant, and on the deck by wright-phillips. talk of him playing at a higher level and being worth £2 mill is patently bollocks.

collins 3 : see above (hartley), but with austin's distribution thrown un for good measure. incapable of passing a ball

horwood 5 : at least showed willing, even of half his crosses didn't beat the first man.

monkhouse 3 : utter shite. petulant, with nothing to back up his theatrical shows of frustration. consistantly taking the wrong option and slowing attcks down.

liddle 4 : gets a mark for trying a tackle or too, but no more than that due to lack of pace, lack of effort, and lack of brain.

murray 7 : only one of two or three who can emerge from that debacle with any credit whatsoever. tried in vain to get us going and ran his socks off to try and stem the tide. put some younger legs to shame with his effort and determination.

poole 6 : looked a threat early doors coming in off his wing but was outnumbered, and faded badly. probably should have started up top.

nish 7 : one of his best performances for us. despite some 'lovely lovely person' behind us whinging after 1min and 43 secs about something he thought he saw, i watched nish closely to see if i could see why there's such bile directed at him. he won most of his headers, but with no-one reading them, they went to waste. looked comfortable with the ball in to feet and laid it off well. also saw much more determination to battle and scrap than in previous games.

boyd 2 : waste of a shirt today i'm afraid. looked totally uninterested throughout and rightly subbed

subs :

brown 5 : clearly some way from match fit, but at least he showed the effort that others didn't. couple of half breaks. hopefully improving in fitness and stamina.

luscombe 5 : tried his tubby little heart out. i've got a lot of time for the lad, but he will make mistakes as he learns the game at this level. needs time to develop but showing lots of promise.

well beaten by a very good side who stepped up a gear at 2-0 to put the game to bed and gave us a lesson in taking chances, keeping the ball and closing the game out. our players and staff should watch the dvd over and over again, as charlton are a good model to aspire to. skilful when given the chance but also physical when it was called for.

neil austin is the worst passer of a football i've ever seen, looks up, boots it to monkhouse.

Way out of position for the first goal too.

That was fucking dire today, even our lass said it was shit.

Only thing to disagree on Aido is 7 for Nish.

I thought Monkhouse had a decent game.

4's a bit generous for Austin, utterly useless today.

I think were finding out why Mick usually struggles as a manager, he simply cant motivate the players and get the best out of them imo.

I agree with them. Murray looked decent as usual and it was one of nish's better performances but that's not saying much. He was much better than boyd though.

Couldn't disagree more about brown. Think he looks ready to start and showed his quality.

thought he showed a couple of glimpses chrissy, but still looks a bit off the pace. hopefully back to somewhere near sooner rather than later.

regarding nish, surely you must have seen more than that. i thought physically he seemed much more ready to mix it. have you ever considered that he may be suffering from a complete lack of service from his team-mates ?

Is it not the point of having a captain, to lead the team through bad times, direct and make decisions on the field, talk to the players and control on field proceedings sctatchinghead

When the fook does Collins do any of the above sctatchinghead

Nish did put himself about and win some headers today so its an improvement of late.

I'm chillaxed. Nish was one of the better players on the pitch but in fairness that wasn't difficult.

Agree with that, their centre halves weren`t as big as some of the other teams though, Monky won loads against the midget right back, don`t understand the criticism of him today sctatchinghead

Nish headed the ball to nobody in particular, and couldn't hit the target from 6 yards out.
To suggest Monkhouse was worse than Austin and Horwood is just plain bonkers.
Thought Flinders was poor today an all, Shavvy would have saved the 4th goal.
They were all crap again today for me. Some less crap than others, but none of them deserved more than a 5.

thought you'd kicked the drugs, ya daft old get. it takes a striker to recognise a striker, and as for missing from 6 yards  dunno how you dare refred

monkhouse just gets the ball lumped at him all day, whats he supposed to frigging do with that?

Hes a good left winger at this left level who needs to be a left winger again, not just a target for neil austins aimless cross field passes.

Monkhouse has been shite for years and must be a good 2 or 3 years since he actually beat a man, this season he cant even control a football most of the time.

just when i thought you couldn't outdo yourself, you go and do it.

to be sensible for a second, if you honestly thought monkhouse offered more than nish today, then there is absolutely no point in engaging in debate with you.

monkhouse was utter utter garbage today, and what's more he turns round and berates his teammates when the ball isn't played exactly where he wants it, adding to the general air of panic and negativity that permeates the side at the moment.

i rate monkhouse at his best, but sadly, we haven't seen him at his best for too long. without being offensive, anyone who thought he offered much today just isn't thinking straight, or is just looking to knock nish for the sake of it by comparison

(edit: that was aimed at tex ritter, not you chip)
