As much as it pains to say I can only see a defeat and a fairly comprehensive one too.

1-4 with Wright-Phillips getting a couple.

We won't play a formation with nobody having a position but playing like the Dutch of the 1970's and adopting a total football system. Formations haven't worked recently so it's time for a change.

I expect a big defeat also possibly 3 or 4 nil, however 2 of our best wins & performances, last season where against Brighton (3-1) & Peterborough (2-0), who are now both in the championship. So if we really knuckle down & play as well as we did in both those games last year then a win isnt impossible !!

Can see it being similar to Southampton at the Viv last season. After a kick up the arse from MW I can see a 0-0 with a resolute defensive showing, Hartley having a blinder. I can however also see it going the way of Sheffield Wednesday at the Vic last season. I'll go between and say 1-0 Charlton but we put up a good fight

If I was a Charlton fan I wouldn't be too confident - a distant away game at a club who have lost their last three at home. I reckon we'll do them.

I fear the worst in all honesty.

Can't bring meself to write pools 1-3 charlton so I'll predict a 1-1 draw.

4 - 0 to Charlton. I'm shitting myself for this game. We beat them 2 - 1 at home last season though and our squad was weaker last season so who knows.

If we set up with the stupid formations of the last 3 games, when we played like the away team, we will get hammered.
Pools 7-0 Charlton
