As you'd expect the Bunkerite and In The Mad Crowd guru provides a sane but positive piece on Pools in the Guardian League 1 predictions today. Think it is online only.

Don't read the Huddersfield one unless you want to get as angry as Mr Monkeybutt at aBirkenstock sales conference.

Four Four two have us down for mid table this season. An improvement on the prediction of 24th last year.

I think the guy from the vital forum does our fan review for that magazine.

The Times have us 18th, and that mid-table is the best we can hope for which I think is a tad harsh

We'll finish higher than that. Screw the predictions of the press. They've probably got Bradford down for automatic promotion again too!

Top article in the guardian by the way. I enjoyed reading that. I didn't realise Exeter had lost both Harley and Cureton. They could, as their fan suggests, prove to be two big losses.

Interesting comment lower down the page, Posted yesterday at 11:27am, forgive the copy and paste

I see Sheffield Wednesday lost 0-14 to Alfreton Town at weekend.

Is that the Megson Effect?

The man is an abysmal football manager and an abysmal human being. I wish him nothing but misfortune - sorry Wednesday fans, I like your club, but cannot wish you any success whilst THAT MAN is in charge.

Posted by KEVINDAVIES14.............. with picture of the Bolton player, now we all know people imitate other's on the net, but could it be ?????????.

We also know the team that lost 14-0 were mainly youth(s) but the good thing about that(if you want Wednesday to struggle) is they 've done away with their reserve team so some of them may be back up for the first team due to injuries and suspensions.
