that the momentum built up from the last 2 results will be ended because of HUFCbiggroundsyndrome on Saturday. Let's hope that the full fixture list is wiped out so we can keep the unbeaten run going the game after

I'd be happy for a P-P everywhere across the board. I'm sorry all youse who want to go, but it's more important that Pools don't lose than youse all wanting to go.

And I'm on day shift

but will Pools pay the ref and liners the required bribery fees? How are we gonna outbid the pressure from the establishment of football? The betting rings? The triads?

Don't worry about the triads lads, I've threatened to knack 'em if they don't play ball, me and Poolie in Fujian have got 'em sorted.

Time for my annual trip to the Leppings Lane End. Where I will be able to witness Sheff Wed's odious fans and even more odious manager. In an away stand that hasn't seen as much as a of lick of paint since that fateful day. I would rather relish a rare Pools away win at SW or even a point would be nice. Still at least Tommy Miller won't score against us this year, at least not in this match!
The constant stream of hot air from Megson will ensure that the game goes ahead

I've only seen four games this season due to me living in Chester; I've seen three Pools wins and four James Poole goals.

Taking that into account, I'll go 2-0 Wednesday.

More realistic Mr Stranton I think!! I don't know where the eternal optimism comes from in some quarters thinking we'll finally win at one of these places, we won't!!!
They just lost their unbeaten home record - they aren't going to lose again, especially to us!!!!!

Exactly. I want Pools to win as much as the next man, but in some cases we have to be realistic. I may attract these 'Ooh I'm not satisified with mediocrity' comments but these aren't the sort of games we'll win on our way to 11th in the table.

If it's any consolation Parmo I think we'll win at the Valley last day. Charlton will have wrapped it up so we can steal three points.

Rochdale and Scunthorpe are not big grounds with twenty thousand people inside. 6That is what makes the difference. If you don't believe me, look at Pools previous 50 matches in grounds over 20000 people in attendance. Drew 2 lost 48
Read it and weep fellas, I would personally award them a 3-0 win and not even bother playing.
There are so many factors in play here I can't be bothered to list them

Its kind of depressing to write off a Pools match, but i agree really. Our team usually plays shell shocked at these big grounds. Our only hope is Luke James probably, as he is too young and enthusiastic to really care about reputation and how many people is in the ground. An absolute breath of fresh air he's been to us supporters recently.

What's a 'big shame' is so many fans writing us off before a ball is kicked. I beleive we are capable of beating anybody in this league. We are only 9 pts off the Playoffs and we lost 8 straight home games in league 1. That alone tells you we have an amazing away record. I remember going to Stoke in the 90s when they were about to win the league and up stepped Lenny johnrose in front of 'nearly' 20000 people in a 1-0 win. We should have beat these bastards at Cardiff in front of 60000 but the referee was a blatant cheat. All this big stadium hoo Doo is nonsense and come Saturday im sure Neale will have the players proving this.

2-1 pools

James
Boyd

600 poolies to witness what others think is impossible

I agree 100 per cent. We have nothing to fear from this lot. We owe them one bigtime. They only won in Cardiff thanks to that cheating get Phil Crossley

Hard to argue with Parmo's stats but there is a simple solution to this problem.

Leave Durham immediately and join Yorkshire as the capital of the new Real North Riding. Regardless of distance that would make both of Sheffield's 'massive/big/arrogant' clubs and 'uddersfield into our local rivals through being in the same county. Those three matches would therefore become derbies and, as everyone knows, they are far less predictable than normal matches so we'd be bound to win one soon.

We could also make up some new songs to accompany the insertion of Yorkshire puddings into our own arses, a well known pass-time in Yorkshire.

We may never have won in front of a bigger crowd than 17.5k, but in the two biggest crowds we've ever played in front of we have not, no way been overawed and came close both times.

Having said that, on both occasions there were sh*tloads of Pools Supporters.

Simple solution: take 10 thou Poolies to Wendyland. Job done.

True about Huddersfield but my becoming Yorkies plan would boost Montpooliers bid to take enormous numbers to Sheffield matches.

I drove to Great Yarmouth for a bit of a holiday after the Cardiff game and everybody, to a man, said we were robbed.
The only people in this world who thought it was a penalty/ sending off, are all Sheff Wed supporters and even some of them say they were lucky.
I live among some of them and most I know look out for our results and are genuinely interested in my team. I think they enjoy being out of the premiership amongst real football fans but aren't that fussy on div one.
They often comment on the fact that it is marvellous to see the likes of Pools competing with so called big clubs and have nothing but admiration for us.
They had nearly 27,000 at their last home game which, however way you put it, is support of the highest calibre.
We have the usual pisstake with each other but the ones I know are just the same as us.............if Hillsborough is open the diehards will go, no matter which league they're in. I respect that.
Now to that hammering we are gonna give them...................

Warning to Mr Ritchiesbirthmark.............stay away from stewards and bobbies !!!!!!!!!!!! Look after him, Chrissystevo.

Haha. If the steward keeps his hands to himself and not on my balls then we won't have a problem. As for the bobbie she phoned me On the monday evening asking if I wanted to press charges but it would have been pointless and expensive to keep going up and the country for something that was basically my word v his.

As for Chrissy on the occasions he's travelled on our bus he struggles to look after himself let alone others
