Anyone familiar with osCommerce?

More to the point, when uploading to the server does it have to be in binary or asci? I'm getting lots of SQL errors despite everything having been set up properly and the database is clean. I'm starting to get angry.

I'm just getting to grips with it myself mate but first I have to translate it into French :bollocks:
I'll let you know how I get on.

Not sure what you mean by "binary or ascii". It's all in PHP4 as far as I remember which comes in pure text - ascii - files and that's the way you upload it. The only thing is if you edit yuor ascii files in windows it puts an extra carriage return (or is it line feed?) in each line comapred with Unix/Linux - which may or not cause problems on a Unix server, not that it has for me in the past like.

Sorted it. For some reason it defaults the server to a non existant sub directory called kunden. Non existant as far as I can see, it must mean something to the internal process. I was editing this out on the basis that I thought it was example text. Now its uploaded and working. Unfortunately thats only the start. I now have the laborious task of populating the thing.
