Waheyyyy!! I didn't need to 'hack' into The Chief Exec's blog, cos' he's given me and Pools fanstastic win a mention on his blog post dated 10th Feb'

DCC Chief Exec is a Poolie convert!!

It's also unbelievable how many strangers on seeing me wearing the Pools badge, stop me in the street in Durham and just start talking Pools Pools Pools!!

Smythe, is there any way you can get the Chief's Blog onto here? The craic on the DCC intranet over the years has been brilliant, Tim Dredge is my all-time hero!! rolfl rolfl

I can quote it for you with the comments Smythe left and the response from our "Poolie" Chief Exec

Quote:
Go Pool 10/02/2007

In today's rugby internationals, England made heavy weather of beating Italy to earn an unconvincing second Six Nations win of the season. In a try-less match in Edinburgh, Scotland earned a forgettable win over Wales.

Two Didier Drogba strikes and an own goal from Abel Xavier were enough to give Chelsea victory against Middlesbrough at Stamford Bridge. Newcastle came from behind to beat Liverpool 2-1 as both sides served up a memorable game in awful conditions. Anthony Stokes came off the bench and scored with his first touch to help Sunderland to their fifth win in six games and move them up into fifth spot. And as a special treat for Paul Smith in Environment, Hartlepool scored two late goals to move into second place in League Two as they beat leaders Walsall 3-1.

and for Smythes response....

Quote:
Nice one Mr. Lloyd much appreciated! Saturday's game at The Vic was a cracking advert for League Two football. Hartlepool United... League Two Champions 2006/07? On the evidence of this performance and unbelievable unbeaten run of form there’s no reason why Pools cannot win the title.

Our "Poolie" Chief Exec responded....

Quote:
My pleasure Paul. Good luck to Hartlepool United in the run-in to the end of the season. I'm sure that most North East football fans want the region's teams to do well

Quality banter from Lord Smythe rolfl

He also said Darlo are horse shit and not just because they play in black and white
