Started by getting 515am  train to London from Darlington then on to Brighton.

Travelled down with 2 tickets between the 5 of them, hoping to get some more tickets.

Went to a pub(don't know which) and ended up selling the 2 tickets at face value and stayed in the pub.

Back to hotel and all in bed(presumably worse for wear with drink) by 330pm.

Sometime between then and end of game 450pm Mutley wakes up leaves the room and returns with a hoover from somewhere and begins to hoover the room waking the rest up.

So Mutley went to Brighton to hoover a hotel room.

And before anyone says it that was probably more fun than watching the game...

So you went all the way to Brighton and didn't go to the match..? stpid

I can't understand that but it seems to happen quite often with Pools fans, travel on a bus or a train for hours just to go to the pub - can't understand it me like...

Maybe he means

John Smths 8.5 - Reliable as usual, kept a good head under pressure.

Fosters 4 - Weak as piss, struggled to last for a full pint.

Carling 6 - Better than fosters but nothing special.

Jagerbombs 3 - Didn't even notice them and for the money they cost expect a lot better.

Aftershock 1 - Good in their day but that was 5 years ago, hopefully the last we'll see of them...!

And I was that fan who bought the tickets.......and absoultely buzzing to get them. A little less buzzing 20 minutes into the game but none the less it was good crack once in the ground and lovely sunny day in Brighton. Big thanks to the Groovychimes and the Lads who i had a couple of pints with before the game and got the tickets from spot on guys (and pretty coherent consider the point in their marathon drinkin session!)
