Scott aside simply because it's too fresh in the mind. Who was the worst managerial performance at Hartlepool in your lifetime? For me its Bob Moncur. Any offers ?

Having just about avoided the Moncur era, I think it's a toss-up between Dave McCreary and Mick Tait. After reading Houchen's book I think I'll go for McCreary, who sounds like he was taking us for a ride as well as being useless....

Mick Docherty and Bobby Moncur for me, both were equally inept.

JOHN DUNCAN - APPLYING FOR OTHER JOBS WHILE HE WAS HERE, BUT QUITE HAPPY TO TAKE MONEY FROM HUFC. NOT COMMITTED AT ALL WHILE HE WAS HERE. A COMPLETE W-AN-KER.

Definately Mick Docherty for me. Didn't we go something like 20 games in the league winning just one at the start of his time with us. (Or is that just how it seemed). He got rid of Roy Hogan who was promptly brought back when Docherty left.
