Well almost half way.....
So far this season it has far exceeded any of my expectations. A few blips apart we sit in the top 10 with an outside chance of pushing for the playoffs, a much more balanced looking first team and a manager who is instilling belief and confidence.
A few blips aside we are strong defensively, have one of the best midfields seen here in the last few years since Tinks left and we are playing good attractive footy which you actually want to watch and enjoy.
We are not looking over our shoulders and we will get to 52 points with plenty to spare and probably finish in the top 12.
We have seen the emergance of a potentially top Premiership goalkeeper, Hartley start to fulfil the promise, Horwood deliver exciting full back play, Murray show us how to play the game simply, the reemergence of Sweens and Humps find another gear and Brownie hit the road to recovery.
All in all a C+ for me which if we hit the top 10 will be a B.
Much better than the Unclassified of the last 2 or 3 seasons and an air if new hope and excitement about what the season will bring instead of watching from behind the sofa.
The real Pools are back!

I'd go along with that. MW has done an excellent job given the resources he has inherited. If we can get to the end of the season and have 52 points plus then he will have achieved our aim for this season - anything on top of that will be a bonus. We can then have a look at our playing squad and how we can move forward.

Yeah, I think a target of at least doubling our current total isn't too much to expect by the end of the season.

Can't disagree with any off that. The pleasing thing is we're in to January and we've just suffered our first back to back defeats, and as one in the cup it not as bad as two league defeats.
