Monkey suspended tomorrow (his was never a booking at Huddersfield either, won the ball  ) we haven't really got an out and out replacement so what would will we do?

Horwood further forward Haslam left back?

Gamble in, Liddle or Sweeney on the left?

Mcsweeney on the left, Dixie Dean sorry Larkin on the right?

Humphreys straight swap?

Plenty of options not sure shich one I'd go for.

If it was Turner in charge it would be:

Austin to right wing, Sweeney to right back, McSweeney to left wing, Brown to Centre mid, Humphreys up front.

As it isn't Turner in charge I'm going to have a guess at Larkin to left wing.

There may be a couple of small changes with us playing twice in 3 days.

Could Murray be rested tomorrow ?? (on bench) with Gamble in so he can start on Monday at Notts Co. MW has given Murray a rest on occasions and tomorrow may be one of those games he decides to do that.

Monkhouse being out is more of a selection problem with a number of players who could fill in on the left....Humphreys, Larkin, Yantorno.

But unlike the last couple of seasons I have every faith that the manager will call it right and whoever comes in will know what he has to do and the way we will be playing. I wouldn't even bat an eyelid if it was McSweeney(left) Brown(right) and Humphreys up front while last season I would be thinking WTF ..... Because each of them players would know what they had to do and be capable of doing it the way we're playing at this moment in time. I'm not advocating those changes. I just have a belief in MW that he will have practiced with whoever is his choice to replace Monkhouse and it will have minimum impact on the team as a whole.

I agree - it doesn't seem to matter when we have a manager who knows what he's doing, and a set of players who know what is required of them in any situation

As for Murray, I trust Wadsworth to do whatever's needed. It's quite surprising to see that only Liddle, Monkhouse, Horwood and Collins have spent more time on the pitch than Murray in our 19 league games so far. He's being managed just fine.

I agree with you completely MJ, what I was saying is that it wouldn't surprise to see Murray rested tomorrow. And fact is many on here wouldn't be surprised either, while if one of our better players of the last couple seasons had ever been rested everyone would be up in arms.

The important part of your post is the beginning...."I Trust Wadsworth".... every Pools fan feels exactly the same. He's(along with the player's) put a smile back on everyone's face.
