Kinect any good? Thinking about getting it but don;t know anyone with 1.

I've read that is a split second behind your actual movements?

It's fun but you need a LOT of room (about 6-8ft between you and the TV plus 2-3ft either side) and more if there are 2 players.

The lag is minimal, not really noticeable when you're playing but you can see it when you watch others playing if you look for it. It doesn't affect the gameplay as the current games aren't split second reaction games, I reckon it's more in the software than the kinect itself tbh.

still on the subject of toys...

when did toys, mainly kids ones, become so hard to take out of a fluffing box?

There tied in with little tiny bits of plastic wrapping them round more plastic and cardboard and selotape and all kinds of safety shit.

It took me 30 minutes at least to get the younguns buzzlightyear out the box he'd fucked off onto summit else by the time i'd finished, red faced, sweating and angry as fuck.

I've had loads of them to do this year, it's so they look good on display so the kids will want them more. When I was a kid there was a box with a picture on it, or a plastic bubble type box with a transformer in it.
