I used to like what Tommy Taylor said.

But he was all mouth and no action.

Wilson. Seriously, big mistake.

You could never say that about Hodgson though, could you

When he leaves this time, how long will it be before he's back?

No, Sotnick/Hodgy is never going to work, and there will only be one winner in the long run, Sotnick.

His obvious choice for a replacement would be Evans, but I live in hope.

A lot of our fans don't know their arse from their elbow.

This is also true of a lot of Poolie fans, Boro fans, Arsenal fans etc

I remember Cooper saying much the same thing when we couldn't get an away win for love or money: "I'm getting tired of saying the same thing after every match".
I'm not sure what Cooper did to put that right, but Wilson has said it a lot quicker than Cooper did. If he is pissed off after only five matches we can reasonably hope he's going to do something concrete to alter that quickly, but what?

What apart from buying ten new players (who in any case are unlikely to be available) would YOU now do in Wilson's place? You can work on things in training till the cows come home but if they players aren't capable of repeating them on the pitch what do you do then? I'm buggered if I know.

If it really is a player problem, if the whole squad has gone irretrievably stale, we'll just have to bite the bullet, avoid the bottom two places this season, then have an almost total clear out for next season.

And there *is* evidence it is a squad problem. That evidence is called Chris Llewellyn.

Because he seems to be getting on like a house on fire with Wrexham's squad instead of being a complete waste of space like at Pools.
Even Jack Ross played OK when he was homesick in the pre-rot squad.

all of these good players cannot turn sour overnight - it clearly is a culture/climate thing at Pools and the sooner Danny boy can turn it around the better.

That season,in all competitions we scored 97 goals and conceded 82...cavalier football that puts Keegan to shame,we arent likely to concede as many goals as that this season and we certainly didnt last season. So the problem obviously is a PROVEN GOALSCORER....67 goal attempts this season,2 goals...not good enough...thats the problem this season and it was the same last season.
