how about him helping out small businesses in the town to get reductions in rateable value and thus paying obscene amounts of council tax, which goes directly to central Government? It's ok Mr Wright, me and my family will just happily sit by while we lose every possession we've got while more and more immigrants receive state handouts. rage rage rage rage rage rage rage rage rage rage rage rage rage rage rage rage rage rage rage

For what it's worth he [Ian Wright] did help me out as a small business based on the queens meadow business park......... Also if your business premises are worth less than £15k all you need do is phone the council up and ask for the relevent form for reduced rates.....

unfortunately for me the business rates are close on £30k. So it's alright to screw me to the floor, according to the Valuation Office and the Council. The money collected goes directly to Central Govt, with the local Council skimming off their own "admin" fees along the way. Business keeps this country alive, but they are killing my business in the process!!!!

Sorry my missive couldn't help parmopooy, but I do empathise with you. Even rates of £150 a year for a poxy shoe box on the queens meadow site is one of the bills making me reevaluate as to whether it's worth moving back to working from home being a small business of 3 years. Rent, rates, massive insurance and feul to get there and home is taking a lot out of the non existant earnings but it was a good day yesterday at swindon.....
