No Barker. I would go Eifion and Brown up front, with Sweens on the right and Bullock in the middle with Lidds. Not the right game for Foley to start . . . on the right. Would put Proctor on the bench too.

I'd agree with that, but the temptation for Wilson must surely be to place Gibb on the right and prove why he signed him in the first place... which to me is not that much of a bad thing no matter how much he gets slagged off!!

No chance that Willie will be back then?

Hope he is because I reckon Saturday is the type of game that will be right up Mr Bolands street.....

Bullock?? refred If Boland isn't fit, then it has to be Sweeney and Liddle in the centre, with Liddle in the holding role. Monkhouse on the left and Gibb on the right. Williams and Brown up front. Not ideal, but no way would I put Bullock in the team.

At least Gibb keeps his shape and keeps the team balanced, I just don't see what Bullock adds to the team. Unless you're after someone slow who is largely anonymous

I was under the impression by what Wilson said last week though that Boland could have been risked against Bury but he didn't do it as he wanted him fit for the two bigger games.

It would have to be something more than just a niggle if Boland is out for a month. Hopefully, he was only say 90% fit last week and the extra seven days has seen him fully recover. I note he wasn't in the ressies and so you'd think he might be ready for this one.
