Mick Wadsworth is to remain in charge for the remainder of the season, and will remain as first team coach - his brief - to secure League One status.

Should think so - he's done well - given the team belief in themselves - and made us stand up to the bully boys in this league - and he will admit if he thinks he's made a mistake - he's ok for a Yorkshireman!!

At the end of the season, the club will prepare for the 2011/12 season.
(Mr Hodcroft has been quoted as saying)

He's already said he doesn't want to be manager. He prefers to concentrate on the playing side of things.
Leave the paperwork to someone else.
He's doing a good job as it is so I say if it's not broken don't fix it.

Excellent news - Mick has been doing a great job, I've loved going to watch Pools this season, even when we got stuffed it was no where near the dross that we used to watch when the fat twat was in charge...

I've got a copy of it.......

Dear Mr Guiness,
I was reading my book of your records and was looking for the part for long managers but couldn't find it so looked for long coaches but still found nowt. I then went on the net and put in long coaches and found a holiday coach but Mick Wadsworth wasn't among the passengers so that's a lie for starters and think you should know about it but that doesn't answer my question so is Mick the longest for not being a manager but a coach can you tell me.
