Apparently all the ex staff are getting a 2 grand lumper just in time for Xmas. Our lass has just sent her form off.

if your lass is expecting a 2 grand lumper she is going to be very disappointed.
they are paying the balance of 8 weeks wages less the notice pay already paid via rpo and less any jsa and less national insurance.

our lass who had over 3 years in gets 5 weeks pay less 5 weeks jsa so about 800 less national insurance so dont be putting 2k on your credit card hoping to pay it off when the money comes in.

mind it covers the cost of our 4 day visit to montreux in august next year so doesnt come in wrong :grin:

These awards things are a farce - I know of a woman who has just won a retail industry award for opening some shops...which look as if they will go tits up after she takes all the profit from Christmas out of them.

It's easy to spunk a load of money away whilst appearing to be successful. It's not so easy when the bank catches up with you though.
