Make sure that you put the handbrake on.

Don't hit the car behind if you reverse park.

There is a park & ride from Colchester North station, be careful as there are 2 stations in Colchester & only 'North' has the park & ride, the other is Colchester Town. I think it's free once you've paid to park at the station. Also be aware that it doesn't run from the station (or at least it didn't 2 years ago) but from a side road just outside.
Much more convenient to park at the ground if you are there early enough, especially as you will have to wait a while for a bus at the end.

I'm sure you have to book your parking at the ground, in advance, at a cost of £6.
Think I'll just take a chance.

Didn't have to pay in advance last year, but of course that may have changed. Didn't take me that long to get away from the ground last year, possibly as I was parked near the exit. I seem to remember going the opposite way to the majority of cars once out of the ground and getting onto the A12 that way.
There is some free parking in short, openings to roads that don't lead anywhere but you have to get there early to find them.

Hoping for a good turn out tomorrow, there's usually a good lot of southern based exiles. Also hoping that the fog clears as it was pretty bad down this way today.
