...OK so we lost today but the management and players are doing us proud so far this season given the circumstances. These days we don't roll over and die and largely keep battling to the end.

If we were able to take another 20-30% of the chances we create we'd be pretty comfortable. The league table doesn't make pretty viewing just now but I can't remember a League One as tight as this before.

Tranmere on Tuesday night, don't really want to settle for a point but the run they are on just now is pretty damn good - we need a run of victories like that. The forthcoming run of league fixture however is tough for us.

I'd sacrifice the Cup game on Saturday for 3 points at Tranmere but how does everyone else feel?

If only we could get more people through the gate - is it worth Hodcroft taking a gamble for one game, say Southampton at home, cut the price of admission in half and see what happens?

So although we lost and the league table is slightly worrying I'm satisfied with Mick and the lads efforts.

.

personally i'd do anything for us to get past Yeovil in the cup and hope for a big club away in the 3rd round. The money generated by that match would be more than enough to get us a good striker.

I've got two free tickets for the Southampton match. Cutting the price wotuld devalue their 'freeness' to me. So I don't agree, keep any cuts for other matches!

It'll be tough against Tranmere, that's for sure. They seemed to have hit some form after a really poor start.

We all know we can get something out of this game though. We should have had a draw yesterday but for that great string of nonsense with the whistle!

Talking about form Peterbrough are dropping like a stone at the moment much to the annoyance of the people round here. They cant defend at all according to my boss what I would give for their front three and our defence.
