Vauxhall packed the midfield and made it hard but rarely threatened apart from when they hit the post.

No segregation. Can a steward please report to the burger bar. There was a gate in the fence that allowed people to venture behind for a wee.

We had a shot that was about a yard over the line and stopped by their defender's hand but the referee gave nothing.

Brown scored a nicely placed header from a good cross.

Thank god we're through.

And Bjornsson struggled a bit.

thanks, sort of glad i didnt go now.

you have to wonder if bjornsson will ever score again, he certainly cant say he hasnt been given a chance.

we got through and murray wasnt needed so really pleased with that.

gota nasty looking run of games coming up in the league, the next 6 all look tough.

Bjornsson really was our weak link. He's an ex-Iclandic international so I'm confused.

Is he actually a striker or is he a defender in disguise?

Is it English football?

I think he looks a lot more comfortable in defence. In attack he is certainly no better than Larkin.

Hopefully the win against Brighton will give the team plenty of confidence going into the next 6 games which do indeed look tough.

We were pretty poor most of the game. Vauxhall did well & even looked comfortable for a few minutes here & there. Can see why they're doing well in their league. Well organised & they stifled us for long periods.
Have to concur about the Whale-Killer . Shyte.

We struggled to beat a side three divisions below us -poor all round.

Pleased for Browny & at least we're through.

Bring on the Glovers.

In defence of Bjornsson, wasn't it him that 'scored' the first one?

Poole was a much bigger let down in my eyes.

Given we didn't struggle at all to beat the team top of our league on Saturday I don't really think there is any reason to worry about the performance last night. Not that you were like

It was simply a case of doing enough to make sure we got through to round 2. We all know we can play better.

Very difficult to say! In the second half I was stood near a group of people and I had no idea they were Pools until we started celebrating!
