Saw a v.young Horden side away at Seaham on Friday night. Much more skill on show than at the Vic yesterday. There were several players who could cross a ball, shoot on target & pass!

4-2 defeat for Horden who, as I'm sure most of you know, are managed by Wor Jackie assisted by Ian McGuckin. Brian has stepped in to help save his local club; which has again come near to folding.

V.entertaining East Durham derby with Horden hitting the woodwork 3x & their keeper making several good stops.

Brian's nephew, Jack Honour, came on as a second half sub.

Horden, like a lot of the Northern League clubs are really struggling financially & would appreciate a few more through the gate.

Given that East Durham had half a dozen Northern League sides just a few years ago & now have only a couple left it would be a real shame to see Horden go as well .

It's a club that 's got a proud history & several Pools connections.

If you can, get yersel' down to the Welfare Ground & support Brian & his team.

Santiago, Chile of course. Where do you reckon Horden might play their games? I'll be back in a couple of hours to give you time to work it out.

I have always known where Horden play the question is WHEN do they play
I must admit though,I only know where they play their home games,I would need to look at their fixture list to get a clue for the aways.
