Left Back

This for a few years has been recognised as one of our real problem areas that needed addressing, nobody really seems to have mentioned that we no longer need a left back.

When Ritchie signs his new contract it should be made clear that he is now a left back, i'd even give him the number 3 shirt next season because the improvement he has made in a short space on time is incredible, he will only get better as well the more he plays there. Compare how much stronger our left hand side with him and Monkhouse linking up, than it was for example when Lincoln launched just about every attack down it against Brackstone and Matty?

I've only seem Lewington at MK Dongs look better in the position in this league all season, we have one of the best left backs in the league IMO!

He did well yesterday, their no 19 was quite a handful & he managed to keep him at bay most of the time

Never say never!! Anyway I thought it was dependent on Nelse and Dimi staying with Pools after 31st Jan?? It'd make a great cover for the Bizz!! sadly I will not be Britside for the event. :grin:

I think there's a better than fair chance. I mean from Uncle Kens point of view, he can almost smell promotion and to spoil the ship for a haporth of tar is not what he's known for and Wilsons signings do their talking on the pitch thus far, are popular with the fans and he's got last season to make up for, as he admits.

There doesn't seem to be a queue for Duffs , he's too good to be on the bench anywhere, he liked his time at the the Vic as he said and Hodcroft has made his position known as far as agents are concerned.
