'Room 101' with Mark Steel!!!! :sweet: :sweet:

Managed to get Bono put in and Ben Elton aswell as PM's and MP's who think they're 'hip' for liking music!!!! clappp clappp clappp

And 'Comedy Connections....Aint' Half Hot Mum'!!!! :sweet: :grin: :sweet:

Aint half hot mum, top notch stuff, apart from the fact my mother made me dress as 'Gloria' for the 1981 royal wedding street party fancy dress

I won the fecker as well :uhoh:

I never got dressed up for 81' but I went to a street party in the very street I'm now living in!!!! :sweet:

But I remember the 77' Jubilee....I was 'Wee Willie Winkle'!!!! :shock: :laugh: :grin:

We went to a street party at my nanas for the wedding in 1981. I went as a red indian but my brother won, he went dressed as the hulk, my mam used loads of food colouring to turn him green :shock:

when i was a kid we had our own carnival at West View and i remember the Garbut's blacking up with boot polish and rabbit skins hanging from their cossies
they were sat on a trolly[bogey to the middle classes] with a big bone they cadged off the coop butcher
they got their mother to write them a sign for the trolly on cardboard it read
"WEST VIEW CANIEBOLLS
