It was 4 brothers but they're all either retired or sadly no longer with us. However, one of their sons is a solicitor at Tilly, Bailey and Irvine (Wynyard).

Was originally Levinson, Walker and Lister, I know as my sister used to work for them in the late 70's/early 80's.

Martin Levinson
Martin Levinson is a member of a well known North East legal family as his father and three uncles all practised as Solicitors in Hartlepool and Middlesbrough and were well respected. He is proud of his heritage and has been a qualified Solicitor since 1975 and a partner with tbi since 1991. He now specialises in Commercial Property transactions and is known for his friendly and approachable style. When he is not hard at work looking after his clients, he will be found either pottering in his garden or striding across the hills and valleys of North East England, sometimes knowing where he is going, but more often than not being hopelessly lost. He is also a keen supporter of Hartlepool United, having been born and bred in West Hartlepool, although now living with his wife in Newcastle.

What you after a solicitor for, as I know a good 'un.

I wouldn't trust most of TBI either, they charge more than most of the others in the town but they don't always employ the best in their field and prefer to just swamp the market with advertising to get people through the door who don't realise that they're not as good as they make out in their adverts.

Just like to add that they're a great family, when I travel up for home matches I usually sit with Martin, his mum regularly sends me down batches of Hartlepool Mails so that I can keep informed of what's happening locally. Martins sister is running the Great North Run for the charity Cancer Research. His late father was a Director at the club when Vince Barker was chairman and I used to get into the directors box sometimes to see the match - how posh is that!

I knew Martins father, Sol. He was a lovely man. He sadly passed away in 1993 aged 74.
