I would have booed if we still had tubby in charge as they are mainly his players who he signed. It just seems wrong to boo when Mick has pretty much played our strongest team and it was just one of those days where nothing went right.

Having said that, a LOT of our players today deserved booing, a lack of effort from some and a lack of ability from others.

The two encouraging things from todays game imo were Sweeney and Horwood. Gamble was very poor again as was Collins and haslam.

Fookin hell, so are we to boo players on
the basis of their ability now? Whether or not they are giving it their all?

You sir, sum up all that is wrong with Hartlepool United "supporters".

Oops, I didnt mean that how it sounded :uhoh: What I should have said was that they deserved booing for being rubbish on the day, rather than on the basis of ability. Ontheir day the majority of them players have the ability but too many of them just played well under par today

....I dont feel overly disappointed after todays result. I expected us to get beaten today, as a reality check was due. They were too strong for us today, we were too weak at the back also up front, and bad decisions were made at critical times for us.
I thought the players (and I would'nt criticize any of them) tried their best, the ref was poor, he gave us nothing. I get the impression ref's dont want us in this league, we're fighting 12 men every week. What I think is they dont like the idea of telling their family and friends that they've refereed in front of only 3-4k, when they can brag of parading in front of 20-30k at the so called bigger teams.
I saw so much pulling, arms in faces, following on tackles, which went unpunished today it sickened me, and that arse Coke just prior to getting took off tried to lame Browny, and the ref chose to ignore it. It's a disgrace.
