I would appreciate some help please..When I go to view YOUTUBE it is saying that I either have java switched off or an old version of macromedia.The thing is I don't............... banghead banghead banghead ..................any help would be greatly appreciated.............

go to both sites and download the latest versions and reinstall them. It will probably be a registry problem in that you have it but the registry doesn't know it. By reinstalling them the registry will be updated.

But do not mess about with the registry manually unless you know exactly what you are doing, nothing but trouble lies therein.
