Post subject: Ritchie or Micky as new boss?
PostPosted: Mon Aug 23, 2010 6:57 pm
Just listened to Wadsworth's post match interview after Saturday. He sounds quite happy doing what he has been doing since he came in. He also mentioned about the good senior players we have at the club and the good work the people at the club have been doing, mentioning Micky Barron and Ritchie Humphreys in particular. Any rumours floating about that they might be involved in a potential management team along side Wadsworth?? Can imagine it appealing to the club as it would be cheap and relatively straight forward to install

Assuming Wadsworth doesn't want it (i hope he doesn't) then we would have to find a manager who would be happy to accept an assistant who is already there. I reckon that could narrow the field quite a bit.

I wouldn't be surprised if Barron was interested, whether he would be ready i'm not sure.

Whatever you're opinion on either of the two you mention, I can't see it happening after the Scott experience.

I think Ken will let it run with Wadsworth in charge and see what happens.

Fair point. Another decent performance tonight would probably seal the deal. Wouldn't be surprised if one of them became his assistant though
