Greggs have announced plans for their first Super Bakers and it's going to be in Hartlepool!

They're taking on the empty Woolworths store and will feature over 100 serving points, including ones dedicated solely to pie and pasty selling, ones for cakes, and ones where you can get both sweet and savoury items at the same time with the intention that the number of counters available will mean that even at peak times nobody will have to queue for more than two minutes.

Apparently they're hoping to have it open by a week on Thursday in order to cope with the demand on giro day.
