Mail tonight, Neil Cooper interested in return. Good or bad, considering others who have returned

theres no chance Hodcroft would employ him again, but it would whet the fans appetities.

But they say never to go back, as it proved with Turner.

Don't think it would work out. Would be cool to sing Neale Coopers Blue & White army again though!

Its a tough one, some of my best memories of Pools came under Cooper but they could be spoilt if he came back and didnt do aswell. I think id rather keep those great memories of his only reign at the club.

Although theres no chance Hocroft would bring him back as Misterb said so nothing to discuss really.

I'd have him back in an instant. If Ken wants to get the gates back up then this is the way to do it. He seems to be opening up a bit more in the press this past week, perhaps it's time to swallow his pride and get Neale in.

Does Cooper actually say he wants a return or is it just paper talk?

Just cant see him risking upsetting his current chairman esepcially if he did leave on bad terms and knows there is no chance Ken would take him back on??

Neale Cooper gave me the best 2 seasons Ive ever had at Pools, but I dont think it would work a second time.

Cooper was arguably our best manager but it's best he doesn't come back. He hasn't done anything of note since leaving and as we have seen, it doesn't always work second time around.

I'd do cartwheels all the way from Ross County to Gillingham if Cooper came back.

I'd be over the moon if Neale Cooper returned. As long as he was given an assurance of no interference.

I really rated him at the time but I have concerns that 2nd stints rarely work and also, towards the end of his reign here we were rubbish werent we. He hasnt done much of note since leaving.

I would be a bit 'meh' if he returned tbh.

I would love to see Cooper back. I'll pick him up and drive him down myself...I only live 8 miles from Peterhead FC.

He has unfinished business as far as i am concerned and if Uncle Ken wants to prove that its not all about him he'll swallow his pride and do something for the supporters.

What do the Peterhead fans think of Cooper?

All 23 of them!

I really can't see it happening. Too many hurdles to cross, too many egos in the way.

Dunno to be honest, I don't read the local rag and I work in Aberdeen where most people tend to support......Glasgow Rangers!!!

Tend to agree Mr I, would love it but can't see it. This is Hodcroft's chance to show he does have some consideration for the supporters though.

There's only one man in the picture to get the manager's job at Pool's and he's there already.
Hodcroft know's bot all about football and he'll just look at the results since Wadsworth came.

If Wadsworth can get the best out of that team then he deserves the job.
If he has had a say in the team since the game against Rochdale then he has had a very good start.
I'd like to see him given until Xmas see how it pans out.
