Going there tonight for a belated Anniversary Nosh!!!! :razz:

I've only been once before and it was cushty....is it still????

yes its still class, try the crispy belly pork on the special menu, outstanding! :wink:

The best restaurant in the town bar none Mr M.

And as mentioned, if they have the belly pork and mash on the menu it's worth two portions, especially if it's the black pudding mash. :razz:

A bit hit and miss for me like, they seem to coat everything in sugar to caramelise it then smother it in that Balsamic glaze. Its either terrific or mingin.

but the belly pork is lush tho

Well I got the Belly Pork....Beautiful....the Belly Pork that is!!!! :coool:

The Black Pudding was cushty but the Mash was 'Mustard Mash'!!!! sadx

The Gravy was like Vinegar!!!! sadx

And the bowl of Veg....Boiled Taties....Brocolli (I hate)....and Carrots!!!! sadx

Why do these restauraunts think it's Posh to not even wash the carrots and leave the ends on????

All in all....average!!!! confised

The Chicken & Bacon Ceasar Salad Starter was cushty though!!!! :coool:

But I'll probably go again!!!! :grin:

Was there last night.

Extremely disappointing.

Food was ok but no better than ok and portion tiny.

Apparently they've got a new head chef. I think that they need to readvertise the position.

I'll still give them another go at some point in case it was a one off as it's the first time that I've ever been disappointed by them.

Last time I had a Sunday dinner there it was tremendous Mr M. That was under the last chef though.

Well I really enjoyed it....apart from the Gravy again....why can't they just make 'Normal' Gravy instead of a 'Posh' Sauce?!?! :roll:

I had the Beef....the best Beef I've ever had!!!! :coool:

I took a food bag to carry the bairns meat home in for Skye!!!! :coool:

They're on their last chance next time I go, two bad meals in a row gets them struck off my list- and they only get the second chance because of how good they've always been in the past!
