Great watching the highlights last night. I'd avoided the score and kept expecting a Sheffield fightback which never came. One report I've read said- Pools dominated.

Turner's post-match comments were interesting. He seemed to be replying to critics when he praised the level of commitment etc but then he also said how well organised we were and gave the credit to Wadsworth. A few posts on here sugggest that Wadsworth was doing the bulk of communication with players during the match.

Maybe Turner is just giving credit where it is due but maybe we actually have a new manager in that Wadsworth is a continental style first team coach, training and running the team, while Turner is called manager but actually only manages transfers, contracts and media. I know this has been suggested before but did it look that way at the match?

Whatever the truth is it seems to be working so far! clappp clappp

Should have added that both strikers scoring is good news after struggling pre-season.

Just watched the highlights and the big positive I took was the amount of midfielders pushing forward. If Murray allows this to happen on a regular basis this could be the change that is required from last season. Gamble in particular looked really up for it, but since Tinks a quality holding midfielder has been our main lacking, and a left back. If both of those deficits can be filled, could be this season isnt the doom laden hell-hole that many of us were expecting.

Nice one Pools
