Flinders 7 nothing to do but claimed almost everything that came into the box

Haslam 7 will never give us anything going forward but reminds me of Keith Nobbs nothing spectacular but efficient

Collins 8 won everything in the air, was it him who made the goal line headed clearance late on I couldn't tell

Liddle 8 some great blocks in the first half

Horwood 8 a proper left back

Brown 7 took his goal well

Gamble 8 got forward and back to cover did nothing wrong

Murray 8 gives the the tackling midfielder we not had that tackle on the half way line in 2nd half when he stopped that breaking shows what we missed

Sweeney 9 Man of the match (IMHO) the Sweeney of 2003/04 ,2004/05 gives us that attacking option from midfield and caused them problems all night

Monkhouse 7 did enough but did lead with his elbow(again) in the 1st half couple times and thought he little lucky not to be booked for one of them

Boyd 8 ran all night and great penalty

OK some may say the marks are high but I can't fault a single player tonight.

Subs made at the right times and the right players took off, taking in to account we play on Saturday. So Management team get an 8 as well.

I'm well pleased.

It was Monkhouse. Not quite on the goal line but still an excellent goal saver. So good in fact I thought he'd handled it at first.
