'We Can't Sign Any More Players' Admits Worried CT

Chris Turner has admitted that he's unable to bring any new players into the club - and that even loan deals are off the table at present.

After a summer of speculation, IOR have kept their chequebook closed with just four free transfers. Despite Pools lacking a prolific goalscorer, Chris Turner has revealed he can not strengthen his squad further.

''We have no chance of bringing anyone in. It's just not going to happen. It's a small squad, though, and we know that with three or four injuries to key players we're going to be struggling a bit.''

As we reported yesterday, Darryl Duffy has been told that he is allowed to Bristol Rovers, but even loan deal look out of the question at the moment, admits Turner.

''We may try and do loans a bit further down the line but at the moment that's not going to happen.'' Turner told the Journal newspaper.
