I'm not a great expert in the field, in fact as Manuel said 'I know notttthing', but when did Roland musical equipment become Poland?

When a band or musician is playing some high profile gig or tv appearance and they recieve no form of sponsorship from the manufacturers of the equipment they use.
i got a 'T' shirt of Zildjian to wear on a tv slot years ago! thought about taping over the markings on my cymbles in protest, (was hoping for a nice cymble) but think they might of sounded even more shite
