Just a word of warning for anyone who plans on going to the tall ships do. Do not wear any decent expensive clobber! The floor there is basically uneven rubble and hardcore everywhere and decent trainers and jeans will get absolutely ruined by the stuff.

If any of yous are taking your bewers then I would seriously advise you to tell them NOT to wear high heels. The floor is very uneven in places (or it was today, and I cant see it being much better for tommorrow). I can see there being a fair few trips and falls.

Someone took the liberty of letting their dog crap all over my fenced off garden last week and didnt bother cleaning it up! Either that or wor lass got up in the middle of the night to bake a dirty loaf and confused the garden for the bog

First random Tall Ships story, I noticed on the news tonight that the first really big ship that came in was Indonesian as it happens I ended up talking to my mate on the phone who has an Indonesian wife and mentioned this. So they had a look down the Marina at the ship.

As we speak he has three Indonesian sailors in his front room eating fish and chips from Oxford Road drinking his Becks lager

...is it not an Albatross or a Stormy Petrol on a stick?

BTW:- I noticed last night while walking the dog, that the DDA campsite at Hart Station farm is so full they're camping in the field behind the farm also. Which I've never seen happen before.

P.S. not sure what DDA stands for btw, Durham Drovers Association perhaps?
