we havent signed a single player since the end of last season when we avoided defeat on goal difference because apparently the owners are trying to sell the club and wont spend a bean until it is offloaded.

if you listen to rumour we are about to be bought by a company that will make us one of the richest in europe, shearer will be our new manager and we will be spending 5 million on players.

meanwhile we are getting battered in a friendly by leeds and our starting line up featured triallists released by leeds, chester, and shrewsbury.

Plymouth fan here (non troll). As part of the build up to the new season, the football website that I run is asking fans of each Football League club to answer a few questions on how they think their team will fare. We'll post all of the responses in divisional posts on w/c 2nd August, and will credit individual contributions by placing the participant's name after their entry.
