now they are not in the PL. I say there is a high chance now its the Football Leagues problem Richards Scudamore hasn't got his grubby little fingers and opinions involved.

The case will probably drag on and cause more interest to be heaped onto the debt causing them to go under. We all saw this coming that you get help as long as your in the "Spot light" league of the PL but not in the Football League

Saying that though its Pompey's own fault (we i say this i mean the powers at be not the fans) who brought this on themselves and the PL for letting them live beyond their means.

Pompey won't fold, clubs in the top divisions aren't allowed to, its the law

Here's to the Wendies folding, I would piss my sides

if Pompey were to fold because they were .... 'living beyond their means'.. the Premiershit wouldn't even exist, it's all no knickers and fur coats.

Think the key here snowy is the term managable debt, such of that of Man U etc, which I dont also agree with. Everyone has debt that they have to manage such as morgage car etc its just that the premier league clubs debt is on a massive scale.

The pompey and Leeds model should be a warning to all clubs in the top flight but it wont ever happen, the only way around this is what the German League have.

I see were you're coming from as regards manageable debt, but football is such a fickle business, the appointment of a crap management team can result in the most secure of clubs suddenly becoming frighteningly vulnerable as their only real assets are their players.

I'm not so sure, I reckon HMRC are itching to liquidate a club to send a message to others. They certainly seem to be making some serious noises with there dealings with Pompey, Cardiff and Southend.

yes, they have settled but if you read the link below you will see where I am coming from. I think HMRC are peed off with clubs simply going into administration and wiping most of the debts (including to HMRC). Hope we aren't the first to feel the full force of HMRC in future
