Well done and best of luck lads.

Was a great night the night we last played Man U yoof (probs one of my favourite as a Pools supporter)

I wouldn't mind going to be honest, have always fancied a trip to Northern Ireland.

The last time we played Man U youth, I missed it because I was in Ireland, a short trawl of the local bars in Dublin couldn't produce anyone who had MUTV on their Sky coverage.

Barron says on official site that being in the final equates to being about 10th of the 26 teams in the tournament. Anyone care to explain?

Following the group stages there was several knock out tournaments based on where team came in the opening group stages.

Yeah, after everyone had played twice the teams were split into three groups based on their results. We got a win and a draw, just missing the top eight, which would have left us in the main Milk Cup draw. Instead we were in the Slemish Trophy for teams ranked 9-16, and we came 2nd

Ahhhhh!! Cheers John.

I saw that, why didn't he just keep quiet and then everyone would think he'd done a class job?!

he already done a class job! do to as good as he's done with with players he has got (if u look at the past youth team squads with the players like brown, foles, turnbulls, maidens, carl jones, micky rae, dallas cup winning squad etc....) he should be the topman in the club i think!!!
