Can I just ask is there any truth in this take over / money injection story, people said it was in the sunday sun but being down here I havent seen it.

Is it just the same as the signings that were going to wet our appitite and has basically turned into a McDonalds happy meal the amount of wetting the non-activity has done.

Heres some speculation; a very very big international oil company ($12bn annual turnover) not directly associated with IOR opened a shell company in Hartlepool relatively recently. The company involved also ties in with another rumour as to the identity of the company alleged to be the takeoverer.

I'm not but what I can say is that all that above is absolutely provable fact except the last sentence which is rumour. I heard the rumour of the company alleged to be involved and did some digging. That was when I discovered the shell company and 2009 turnover.

Now to add some petrol to the flames of the rumour fire, I was reading the official pools match report and noticed the Dosco sponsorship logo. Googled them and found they are part of group (at least of associated companies) of oil field equipment rental companies, IOT = International Oil Tools & DOSCO = Dutch oilfield services Co. The parent company appears to be COR, Certified Oilfield Rentals and on their homepage is a link to HUFC, http://www.theoilfieldprofessionals.com/dosco-bv/. This may be explained away as they may be a new sponsor, as in the dutch tour or maybe there is another explanation.......................

If it is a wind up it is a pretty elaborate one and to fuel the flames further is Bosco (the man on the inside?) a member of a new organisation British oilfield services co?

I haven't a clue as to what is going on but an interesting thing to ponder while things are quiet.
