to make shit up and i know its been said a million times on here BUT i got a call earlier from a lad who is a bit in the know at pools and he said that a deal worth millions is ready any day now and it is gonna be the biggest thing ever to happen to Hartlepool United

I've took all these rumours with a pinch of salt BUT i'm pretty confident about this one

Not unless you have baps like jordan. If I had took salt everytime I heard a rumour about pools this summer id have a heart like peter owens.

Interesting.

I was very sceptical about all this but I'm starting to believe that there's something in it after all.

No smoke without fire, and there certainly is a lot of smoke.

on the other hand, I'm definitely not counting my chickens.

I just hope one way or another things are sorted soon. The season starts in a few weeks and we are struggling in a lot of area's. IOR have been brilliant so if a new company is coming in they have big boots to fill.

With my optimistic head still on.

This is the rumour that has been doing the rounds since early May. And it's always the next day or next week it's going to happen. It's always from a lad in the know.

There's that many lad's in the know I don't understand why it hasn't happened before now.This lad in the know may be right this time he may also be as wrong as the many before him, I don't know.

You state it been said a million times so why do you SUDDENLY think it's right and worth posting??

Why should he be right this week when so many other's have been wrong in the weeks before-hand.

I want him to be right, I do.... But for months this has been happening

If investment/ a takeover happens to 'Pools and it is the biggest thing to happen to us, I hope we don't let the big aspirations ruin us like they have at Darlo.
