The paper seems to be called the Press & Journal these days not the Aberdeen Inverness & Highland Press when I was up there on the rigs.

Anyway, here it is.

Rumours coming out of Aberdeen by the way abt the so -called cash injection into Pools but fook knows if there's owt in it.

nowt confirmable anyway.

Will pass on anything firm I hear about from the lads up there but won't subject you to the usual rumour mill that abounds in Pools, usually with fook all evidence.

Just got back home to Aberdeen after a weekend in Pools and the local evening rag up here on Friday was making a big deal of a player "snubbing" Hartlepool for the chance of a trial with Aberdeen! rolfl

Aberdeen and their fans still harbour dreams of being a big club and of challenging the Old Firm like they did in the 80's. My workmates who are season ticket holders are regularly more depressed than me on a Monday morning and the quality of football at Aberdeen is worse than abysmal.

They are welcome to Horwood, and I would pmsl if they don't offer him a contract. He'll be fooked then. If he is the best that Aberdeen aspire to then it really does confirm the state of the SPL as the equivalent of League 2 in England.

Can't blame the lad really...........keeping his options open.
It works both ways.............until he's offered a contract he is entitled to explore all avenues.
As long as he does it properly.

Nothing has really changed though has it. Tell me when a contract has been signed because at the moment I don't believe anyone at Victoria Park has the authority to offer one.
