I have every faith that a recognised left back is on the clubs radar.

Whatever the reason for Horwood's defection, I'm sure we can sort that position out.

At end of day my preferred option if we don't bring in someone would be to move Liddle over there for the pre season games with Hartley and Collins as centre halves.

We have enough games to try it without panicking at the moment , and I actually think a left side of Liddle and Monkhouse wouldn't be to bad. Maybe Liddle could even overlap now and again(Ashley Cole-esque)

No need to get the worried heads on yet boys, all is not lost.

And to Horwood, you really did want to play for your home team didn't you ???.

Said all the right things after Carlisle released you then the £££££££££££££££££££££££££££ signs appeared (just my opinion)

Consider the possibility that the basic salary he 'might' have been offered was so low he wouldn't have been able to pay his mortgage.

He might love his home town but I bet he loves his family more.

I was being over simplistic with regards to him, seeing the ££££££££ signs.

Though 1 interesting question that needs to be asked, and once more it with regards to money, and only possibly a few hundred pounds,

Can we claim the money back off him that his flight ticket to Holland cost. rolfl

I'm sure that was paid for if he only decided to go to Aberdeen yesterday.

Then again I might email the club pay the transfer fee to have it in my name and go with them.
