Mr.Groovy told me a story about Bugsy....the lead singer....the other day....He was on 'Big Break' and Jim Davidson when introducing the contestants said....

In 1982 me & a mate (both 14 years old) walked hom from Middlesbrough Rock Garden (Cavern ?) with Bugsy at 1 in the morning & he showed us how to climb up Newport Bridge & then hung from the middle by one hand & pissed on the cars below

Strangely I was driving over Newport Bridge earlier today, and looking at the chains hanging down, I wondered how long is it since they were last used to raise the bridge, to let shipping pass underneath. Never thought I would be reading about Groovy pissing on cars from the same bridge. :grin:
