Why did I always think he was a top class player and played for Liverpool....(and no I'm not getting him mixed up with David 'he'll save us' Hodgson BTW!!!!)!!!! sctatchinghead confised

He never even played 1 League Game....I'm amazed at that!!!! :shock: :shock:

To be fair, none of the very top managers have played top flight football.

Wenger only played 3rd division French football and even worse, Ferguson only ever played in the Scottish leagues.

I'm not disputing that Mr.I....I just ALWAYS thought he played at the Top!!!! :wink:

PS....'Ferguson only played in the Scottish Leagues'!!!! :laugh: clappp :laugh:
