I think there would be a problem with that in that it would be hard to bring all the associaitions on board. That was what happened when someone proposed having a Home Nations tournament.

As much as I can't understand why we still compete under England, Scotland etc, I think we just have to accept that when we first competed, we were England.

Also, we say ourselves about how weak the Scottish, Welsh (?) leagues are, so we might still have problems.

It's never gonna happen. There would never be any Scotland players in the team for a start as they're not good enough.

The only Welshman probably guaranteed a place would be Giggs and he's past it.

So it would effectively be an England team with the odd token other Home International player thrown in.
