Lets see....they failed to beat 2 p*ss poor teams and just beat another one today.

As soon as they face a half decent side they are on their way home. Germany should see to that on Sunday if they top their group tonight.

We haven't been beaten by the hun since 1996, but don't let that get in the way of a reasoned argument

During the group stages at the last world cup you could have said the same, and worse about the Germans and the Italians. All too early for you soothsayers and naysayers.

England had maybe 15 minutes of quality play today. For much of the rest of the match they approached mediocrity. But it was a group match they needed to win, and they did. Anything else is another day. I don't think they'll come close to winning but it's knockout football, you don't rule anything out.

They might have scraped results but neither were great and the Italians were truly awful. I went to see Germany play the Czechs and it was like a northern league game. The blaze of glory for Klinnsman was earned from later performances not group games.

I hope we'll win but I think - nay believe, that we will lose to Spain in the final. The Spanish are the only team that really worry me.
