If you're referring to the Bloody Sunday enquiry, it should hopefully reveal what everyone has known for years.

There were shots fired from the flats at the Army.
They were not fired by any of those killed or wounded.
Some of the killings were pure and simply murder.

This was a very dark day in the history of the British Army and the Parachute Regiment in particular. Two people should have been prosecuted for murder, namely soldiers F & G to give them their Widdery and Saville names. They went out looking for kills and got them. Colonel Wilford should also have been censured as should the OC of 1 Para anti tanks platoon.

This was no heat of the battle moment, it was premeditated murder.

I'm no apologist for the IRA but those shot weren't members of that organisation. They were however the catalyst for hundred of others joining. Bloody Sunday was the greatest recruitment drive the IRA ever had.
