ironically it's the Tory voters who would suffer most under CGT rises. An easy way around paying tax on 2nd homes is to live in the place for 6 months before you sell it. Arf!! Usually by pretending to have split up with your wife or whatever.
It's only a matter of time before they change that time limit so as to make it impractical to get around paying the tax like. I can't believe they haven't changed it to 3 years or something like that, before you become exempt from CGT

CGT is a con at the low level currently charged and should be increased.
