by and large they do a good job, but there is no earthly reason for keeping such a maniac breathing. Just reading that story was bad enough, the people on that bus will need years of counselling to ever be even close to getting back to a normal life

Once the formality of the trial is over, then he should be topped. It would be even more insane than he is, to preserve such a worthless life

I don't really understand why this story is no 3 on the latest news stories on the BBC, it is from2 years ago. The killer was found to be not criminally responsible due to mental illness.

I've just read that and thought 'a similar thing happened a few years ago'. Why is that same story back on? What's going on with the BBC POK?

fact is in this day and age they will go to court for compensation regardless of how they feel.

I spent 31 years in the emergency services as you know Parmo, and it was a pet hate of mine why Police at Hillsborough got more than those who lost loved ones. It the way of life nowadays.

I seen things I didn't want to but I accepted them because of the job I was in. Christ sake if I don't want to see the aftermath of horrific incidents why did I join the fire brigade. They along with the Police are first onto a scene of carnage.

I didn't get counselling, I may have needed it at times but that doesn't mean I go to court and get compensation.

I was getting paid for doing it. End of.
