Of course it might just mean that Boothroyd trys to sign him in the Championship instead of League 1!

Pools already pay that amount a week for at least one player

If turner had binned Ritchie then we would have gone some way towards being able to afford 3k a week for O donovan.

Ken Hodcroft.
I'm sure he'd be over the moon to pay 3k a week on crowds of 3000:):)

You can't the other way.

It is widely reported that one of our players (our best player) is on the figure mentioned, to suggest none of them are on 2k a week is way off the mark, we are in League One (just!) if we didn't pay league one wages we wouldn't be.

The average wage in league one apparently is £55k a year.
There is no way Austin is on 3 times that.

I concur. I would be amazed if a few of our players are not on 2k+

The goals Roy would score would mean we win more matches and have a generally better season. This in turn will increase the average crowd.

All we would need is an extra 300 through the gates on average to be able to afford the outlay in Roys wages, which is more than achievable.

besides they wages we are saving with the players released will easily top £3000.

Ok. Not really much I can say. If our players are on such lesser salaries than other league 1 teams then staying in league 1 is a decent achievement

Let's just say our current top earner is on 80k a year with a couple of bonus's on top.
This is not O'donovan.

She is wrong by a long way.
Pools don't pay those sort of wages.
Don't believe what women tell you pal.
